That's right, Lions! The new Lions program allows Kindergarten-aged boys and their Adult Partners to join the Cub Scouting FUN.

Committe Members Needed!
Secretary - Take minutes of committee meetings and agenda once a month. Work with website coordinator to get site updated.
Scout Recruiter – Get information out for “Join Scout Night” and Spring Recruitment. Pass out fliers to all students in school. Go into classrooms and talk about scouting to the boys.
Membership and Registration – Must be at September's fall recruitment night. Will gather registration forms and talk with prospective new scouts about joining Pack. Keep all forms of scouts on file and collect money. Must attend committee meetings in April, May, September and October. Make sure forms and payments get to Council.
Religous Awards Chair- Works with an associated Church to run the God and Me program.
Pinewood Derby – Planning of event, order trophies and prizes. Help with set up of track and run races and software. (Committee will have race night the night before for set-up)
Blue and Gold Coordinators (2 or 3) – This is the planning of our Packs Award Dinner. This group will need to work together. Coordinate the meal, entertainment for the event and other activites. Responsible for set up and take down.
Camping Coordinator – Set up campout for a summer activity. Set up agenda for camp out.

CONGRATULATIONS JOSH R!

Congratulations Josh R who was the top Popcorn salesman for the entire Gamehaven Council, received the distinction of being chosen to represent the Council and participate with twelve other scouts from around the state in 2008 Scouting Report to the State of Minnesota, hosted by the Northstar council of St. Paul, on Monday March 3rd. Josh personally delivered a report to the State Representative Kate Knuth , and also met with Governor Tim Pawlenty, State Finance Committee Chairman Richard Cohen and Chief Justice Russell Anderson of Minnesota Supreme Court with whom he had a chance to share Scouting Highlights from the past year.

Pack 29 Explores Forestville!

A few of the members of Pack 29 took part in a summer Pack outing. They learned about fossils and also explored Mystery Cave. One boys quote was "Now this is how I like to learn history". Check out more pictures in the Gallery.
